:Summary of the role
The Communications Officer, under the supervision of the PEF and supported by the Implementing Consultant (IC) is responsible for implementing the visibility, communication, and outreach strategy for the Sustainable Employment Project, funded by the Federal Republic of Germany through KfW, This includes promoting the project’s visibility, documenting results, and supporting public outreach in line with PEF and KfW guidelines. The communication Officer will also manage both external and internal communication products that highlight project impact and support stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement the project visibility, communication, and outreach strategy developed by the IC.
Manage digital content (social media, website updates, newsletters).
Produce success stories, infographics, press releases, and event coverage.
Ensure compliance with KfW branding and visibility guidelines, with IC support.
Coordinate communication with partners, stakeholders, and media.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a communications role, preferably within a development or corporate context.
Demonstrated hands-on experience in managing professional social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn) and using graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite).
Proven ability to produce diverse communication materials (e.g., success stories, press releases, web content, infographics).
Professional fluency in English and Arabic (speaking, reading, and writing).
