Position Title: Project Manager
Reports To: CEO and the steering committee
Location: Ramallah
Duration: Full-time, project duration

The Palestinian Employment Fund (PEF) is a national institution was established by Presidential Decree No. 9 of 2003 as a national institution with legal personality and financial authority to contribute to economic growth by activating and motivating labor market policies, as well as implementing programs and projects aimed at creating and generating sustained job opportunities.
Summary of the Role:
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall day to day management of the Sustainable Employment Project, and coordination with stakeholders. This role ensures the effective implementation of all project activities, reporting, and compliance with KfW guidelines and project work plans.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the overall planning, coordination, and execution of project activities under both wage subsidy and capacity development components.
· Ensure adherence to the approved work plan, budget, and timeframes.
· Serve as the main point of contact with PEF, Implementing committee and partners.
· Prepare and submit timely narrative and financial reports in line with KfW requirements.
· Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with agreed-upon objectives, indicators, and outcomes.
· Coordinate the work of field officers, procurement staff, and other project personnel.
· Oversee risk management processes and propose mitigation strategies.
· Ensure gender-sensitive and inclusive approaches are integrated and monitored into project implementation.
· Organize and lead regular PIU meetings and project review sessions.
· Support the identification and delivery of PEF facing capacity building/development activities
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Development Studies, Economics, or related field.
· At least 8 years of professional experience in project management, preferably in employment or livelihood-related projects.
· Proven experience managing donor-funded projects, preferably with KfW, GIZ, or other bilateral agencies.
· Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent report writing and communication skills in English.
