Position Title: Communications Officer

Reports To: Project Manager

Duty Station: Ramallah

The Palestinian Employment Fund (PEF) is a national institution was established by Presidential Decree No. 9 of 2003 as a national institution with legal personality and financial authority to contribute to economic growth by activating and motivating labor market policies, as well as implementing programs and projects aimed at creating and generating sustained job opportunities.

Summary of the role:

The Communications Officer is responsible for promoting the project’s visibility, documenting results, and supporting public outreach in line with PEF and KfW guidelines to implement communication strategies and manage external and internal communication products that highlight project impact and support stakeholder engagement. He/she is responsible for supporting and collaborating with PEF’s wider communication activities, to help keep messages clear and synergised

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a project communication strategy.
• Manage digital content (social media, website updates, newsletters).
• Produce success stories, infographics, press releases, and event coverage.
• Ensure compliance with PEF and KfW branding and visibility guidelines.
• Coordinate communication with partners, stakeholders, and media.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or similar.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in communications in development projects.
• Strong writing, content creation, and editing skills in English and Arabic.
• Familiarity with communication tools and social media platforms.
