Information Technology (IT) Officer

Reports To: PIU Project Manager and PEF IT Department

Location: Ramallah

Duration: Full-time 1 (one) Year, with possibility for extension.

Summary of the Role:

The IT Officer will support  PEF’s IT Department in managing the digital infrastructure, databases, and e-portals for the Sustainable Employment Project, funded by the Federal Republic of Germany through KfW. This includes ensuring secure data handling, providing technical support, and ensuring compliance with project standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure data security and confidentiality following international data protection standards.
• Provide technical support to PIU team, ensuring system uptime and troubleshooting.
• Develop and manage data dashboards and analytics tools to support MEAL reporting and project management.
• Support the procurement, installation, and maintenance of IT hardware and software systems.
• Train PEF/PIU users on digital systems, maintain user access rights, and back up databases regularly.

الشروط

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems management, including database development, data security, and user support.
• Proven experience in developing and managing digital platforms/portals. Strong skills in database management, dashboard development, and cybersecurity principles.
• Professional proficiency in Arabic and English.
