The Palestinian Employment Fund (PEF) is a national institution was established by Presidential Decree No. 9 of 2003 as a national institution with legal personality and financial authority to contribute to economic growth by activating and motivating labor market policies, as well as implementing programs and projects aimed at creating and generating sustained job opportunities.
Position Title: Project Manager.
Duration: 8 months with the possibility of extension.
Starting date: As soon as possible.
Report to: Program & Projects Department.
Location: West Bank – Gaza

Job Summary:
PEF is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the project's operations and management. The project is funded and implemented by the Foundation and aims to achieve specific results within a defined timeframe. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing project activities, ensuring the quality of work, the accuracy of all project documentation, and the preparation of reports, monitoring, and impact-based evaluation. They will also ensure the project's compliance with PEF standards, including procurement, financing, and management.
:Generic Responsibilities
• Adherence to Project Support Fund (PEF) policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Adherence to the funder's program policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Leading project launch and implementation, including procedures, guidelines, and tools.
• Advising management on staffing, resources, and budget.
• Contributing to institutional learning by supporting specific analyses, lessons learned, and reports.
• Participating in ensuring that cross-cutting issues are implemented and reflected in the project, with a particular focus on protection mainstreaming, gender equality, governance, child protection, green work, and digitalization.
